Sell short that's a routine occurrence they are revised all the time so much so it's a joke

Employment Report: +114k

Look what we have here!

The unemployment rate decreased to 7.8 percent in September, and total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 114,000, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment increased in health care and in transportation and warehousing but changed little in most other major industries.

This is rather amusing; +114,000 is fewer than the working-age population growth in the household survey (206,000) and yet unemployment decreased.

Huh?

The household survey's unadjusted numbers, however, show some rather interesting figures, none of which make sense. "Not in labor force" increased by 386,000 while "employed" increased by 775,000 a net change off "unemployed and looking" of well north of a million people!

But -- giving up is not the same thing as finding a job.

1,035,000: Construction Jobs Lost Under Obama

When President Barack Obama signed his economic stimulus legislation on Feb. 17, 2009, he said that one impact of the act would be to create jobs for 400,000 people building and rebuilding the nation's infrastructure.

But despite a price tag that the Congressional Budget Office now says was $833 billion, the economic stimulus of February 2009 did not create 400,000 new construction jobs.

In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics there are now 1,035,000 fewer construction jobs in the United States than there were in January 2009, when Obama was inaugurated, and 925,000 less than in February 2009 when Obama signed his stimulus act.

Come on now people, you all know that politicos are corrupt. It doesn't matter which side of the fence you're sitting on either. All things considered, the fact that "O" got the nod, a truly first for the U.S.A., if you get my drift, but even his own party joined with the R's to thwart his moves, not to forget that he did sell out too. Variation on theme; "Corruption runs deep, into your life it will creep", and this is where we are at today. Perhaps the saving grace in all this, there are way too many of us, vs them, and we also have the means. So, stay focused, but keep it quiet. Let the loud mouth sycophants do the talking, and take that I-phone away, the X-box too, and practice live.

I have a dilemma. I believe all politicians are criminal traitors, based on the Constitution of the united States. In 1968 I joined the military and took an oath to protect the country from ALL evils, both foriegn and DOMESTIC. So how can I vote for someone when its my duty to shoot them?

The hair swap makes Mitt look like Curious George and Barack like Prince. As creepy as these photos are, I can't stop looking at them.

Lady Liberty--

Good stuff on today's unemployment propaganda, which no longer strives for even the semblance of realism. Along these lines, Paul Craig Roberts points to a rather glaring contradiction in fully half of all reported new jobs:

"As has been the case for a decade, two categories–health care and social assistance (primarily ambulatory health care services) and waitresses and bartenders account for 53% of the new jobs. The BLS never ceases to find ever growing employment of people in restaurants and bars despite the rising dependence of the US population on food stamps."

Ron Paul is the ONLY one who can beat Obama!
Oct 6, 2012 at 8:24 AM | Unregistered CommenterMike
Readers of this site make for a biased sample in favor of Ron Paul. I get that. Also, a couple of Obama sites linked to this poll yesterday and several hundred Obama drones showed up and voted for their dude.

If Ron Paul gets 3% nationwide as a write-in I will be surprised. This is going to be a tight electoral race decided in florida, virginia, ohio, pennsylvania and a few other swing states. It's still a toss up, and only Diebold knows the winner.

Come on now D.B., don't you think you're being one sided declaring "Diebold" knows the answer? After all, the great unwashed believe they have the power to choose between "Tweedledee & Tweedledum", so don't spoil the illusion, or they might not vote at all. And does it really matter if those who want too, vote for Paul? Let them have the freedom to choose, you know, protest. After all, this country is still the land of the free, isn't it?

WTF! I love Ron Paul but aren't you playing the same dirty tricks that the media did on Dr. Paul to boycott his campaign and silence his message? Why didn't you add all the candidates on the ballot (who are not in the debate) and are running for president? The fact that Gary Johnson is missing on that list is unforgivable and unlike something that a true Ron Paul supporter would do Kudos for putting out this poll, but shame on you for adding personal bias to it.

Fed Up

I thought about putting Gary Johnson on the list but I wanted to keep the options at 5. I will be doing one of these polls again in a few weeks and I will include him then.
