This is my response to the Buffett media onslaught of the past few days.

In this flashback to 2010, Bailout King Warren Buffett describes the key to his success. Who else remembers the massive multi-billion dollar put he sold in 2008 on the S&P 500 for 2017? It was bleeding Berkshire dry as he was forced to pony up billions in collateral as the DOW crashed below 7,000. TARP and all subsequent stealth Fed bailouts, including multiple editions of QE have all contributed to the stock market turnaround and a hefty profit for Berkshire on those 2017 puts.
