Dear Super Congress - Bring Our War Dollars Home!

Seventy members of Congress have signed a short letter to the 12-member Super Congress calling for ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, thereby "saving more than $1.8 trillion from current law spending levels over ten years."  That’s $1.8 trillion in savings beyond already-planned troop drawdowns.  And it’s $700 billion more in savings than President Obama proposed this week to find through a plan that cuts our social safety net.  The bipartisan letter concludes: "Before we ask American families to pitch in more, let's bring our troops home -- and, in the process, our tax dollars home."  If you agree with these 70 Congress members, sign below to tell the Super Committee.

There's profit in war and that's why we're in it.

That profit from war is impoverishing the nation. These are the world's first privatized wars and that's also why they are the most expensive wars ever fought. An American protest movement would go very far toward realizing everything they are demanding if they would use this movement to stop these illegal, immoral, America-wrecking wars. Will the movement rise up to stop the coming war with Iran, or will the coming war with Iran rise up to stop this movement?

Oh, my God! I am crying as I read this! It is like you guys do not even acknowledge that people are dying in Libya right now as we breathe. You could stop this. Please stop this. Show that you are not like Wall Street, that money is not your God, that you are still human. Yes, America is still bombing Iraq and Afghanistan after ten years of claiming to protect them. But whole cities of real people are being wiped off the map in Libya right now from bombs dropping from 3000+ feet and chemical warfare meant to soften them up so that the Alqaeda terrorists that killed your soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan can roll in with tanks and guns and finish them off. Families in Sirte are being starved by your military commanders because they refuse to surrender and be butchered. Do not be misdirected by the fake protesters. War in Libya is costing you lives and millions. Have you even seen a casualty list for Libya? Believe me you've lost some. I'm praying Libya kicks your asses America.
