THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING BERNIE

Real Time with Bill Maher: Bernie Sanders Interview – May 27, 2016 (HBO)

Sanders trashes Trump and Clinton ahead of the California primary. I disagree with just about everything in this clip, but I'm posting it to demonstrate Bernie's hypocrisy manifested in the video below, as well as this recent story on Bernie getting kicked out of a commune in 1971 for shirking his share of the group work responsibilities. He wanted to sit around and talk politics while others handled the labor.

Meanwhile Sanders doesn't want to talk about the failures of Socialism in Latin America, specifically the chaos and starvation that now engulf Venezuela.

BERNIE WON'T ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT VENEZUELA

Townhall

Bernie Sanders has openly advocated for socialist policies on the 2016 campaign trail and back in the 1980s, Sanders argued bread lines are a sign of economic progress. But now that Venezuelan socialism is leading to the downfall of the country, with citizens hunting dogs and cats for food as the government fails to provide, Sanders doesn't have much to say.

"You know, it's funny. Sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is when people are lining up for food. That's a good thing. In other countries, people don't line up for food. The rich get the food and the poor starve to death," Sanders lamented at the time.
